Maybe Tomorrow

Jamie and her son Bo have learnt never to take anything for granted. They had had a lovely home, Jamie had had a good job, and all had been well in their little world. Until Covid hit. Now, Jamie finds herself scratching to make ends meet, working in a job she hates, living in a rented flat with a dodgy landlord and reliant on the local food bank. She's not proud but she finds it hard to admit she needs some help. And so when she meets an unlikely and colourful group of people in the queue at the food bank she finds she's not as alone as she thought. The group soon form a friendship and share a common goal: of reclaiming their careers and agency over their own lives - even if it's just choosing their own groceries. They quickly find that it's easier to be objective about each other than about themselves, and decide that, when you're all out of options, it's okay to bend the rules a little and create your own. A story of friendship, hope and possibilities - and how maybe tomorrow will be brighter than today...
