The Unconsoled

Text in Arabic. Ryder, a renowned pianist, arrives in a Central European city he cannot identify for a concert he cannot remember agreeing to give. The story unfolds as Ryder is entangled in a web of appointments and promises which he cannot seem to remember, struggling to fulfill his commitments before Thursday night's performance, and frustrated with his inability to take control. As he traverses a landscape by turns eerie and comical and always strangely malleable, as a dream might be he comes steadily to realize he is facing the most crucial performance of his life.
